WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
IN'AWE studio was born through a burning passion for a contribution that came a long way and took flight in June 2014. Helene van der Westhuizen, owner, founder, and lead designer for IN'AWE studios, had a love and respect for design to share. It is where the urge came to play; we as a company want to give back. VISUAL was born. The word has a unique meaning, and we will tap into that throughout this workshop. To have VISUAL is one of the critical senses we use that directly impacts our emotions. That is what your environment does; it directly affects what you feel. So why don't we get our ducks in a row and improve our spaces? You have just unlocked your first medal! You made the first step to realising that you need your space to impact your mood positively.
What we hear, see, taste, smell, and touch can provide information on how to feel. In the other direction, what we feel can be heavily influenced by what our senses are taking in. The next time you feel happy, know that something you're sensing may impact that euphoria.
